GUARDING THE CITIES - A CALL TO PRAYER!!
I feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit to encourage believers in Christ in England to enter into a new level of apostolic prayer, declaring the sovereignty of God over the nation. We must declare Psalm 91 over the nation with boldness. Fear must be bound at this time. During September 2004, the Lord revealed to me FEAR, was a ruling principality over the UK. This fear the Lord explained was ???PARALYSING FEAR???
The enemy is seeking to release fear in the nation but he must be resisted. We as the army of God must defy the devil in rejecting fear. We must grow in the perfect love of Jesus Christ which the bible teaches casts out all fear,
???There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love???s complete perfection] (1 John 4:18 AMP).
A group of prophets were called together recently specifically to wait on the Lord over warning words about impending terrorist attacks. As a matter of fact I met one of those messengers sent to warn Britain earlier on in the year. This American Jewish Rabbi defied the enemy on three occasions during three uncomfortable days at an airport awaiting a flight to London. His assignment was to warn ???the church??? of an imminent terrorist attack. I was invited to up to London to a private meeting with the Rabbi by my friend Olave who obviously heard God to give the Rabbi a platform through private meetings with leaders and intercessors to deliver the word of the Lord.
I could hardly assimilate the information he was sharing only because my assignment was simply to prophesy to the Rabbi. He had come to bless the body of Christ (by revealing the enemy???s plans) and the Lord wanted to bless him in return. The word of the Lord to Rabbi Moshe was ???Because you have obeyed me I will vindicate you???. The warning was clear ???if the church did not take the Rabbi???s warning seriously, acting upon the instruction to pray; terror will come to the city???. The Lord promised to give sign of the promised vindication in the media. The BBC released news of impending terrorist attacks days afterwards. The sign of Rabbi???s vindication had been released. The rest of us should have locked heads in prayer. The recent terrorist attacks on London would confirm the word of the Lord to vindicate a man who obeyed to come like prophet Amos to prophesy to a nation. Would the Lord have allowed the loss of precious lives? The church as ???Watchman??? is responsible for the word the Rabbi brought to London.
Binding the Strongman
WHY WE MUST PRAY
A strong call of intercession has been released upon the church corporately as ???intercessor??? in partnership with Jesus, the Great High Priest. Believers in the British Isles must now break free from false humility, false submission and flesh that hinder us from taking up our responsibilities to God and His people. If you stand in the office of prophet and the Lord reveals impending danger with a command to warn His people then that is what you must do. For sometime now the Lord has been speaking to me about the STRONGMAN over cities, revealing combination locks (on spiritual padlocks) and also keys to unlocking the destiny of cities.
Please test the information I place before you as the bible teaches us to, however be sure not to attempt to interpret with the language or tools of the old ???Saul??? system. Let the Holy Spirit reveal the destiny of your city and nation, and how the gates of the area where the Lord has commissioned you as a watchman (Acts 17:26) must be unlocked (Ps 24:7-10).

So for example, three intercessors praying in Manchester with victory mind-set (Number 3), and knowledge of the work of the three witnesses of the Trinity are sure to secure breakthrough on behalf of the cause for which they stand (Micah 2:13).
Study and research may reveal most ???things??? spiritual and natural work in a sequence of threes in Manchester (see article titled THE DIVINE WITNESS on www.womenarisepray.org. then click on teaching)
Also where there is evidence of true unity (number 1) in London, prayers of the righteous will avail much (see article titled ???Praying with insight??? on www.womenarisepray.org. then click on teaching)
The body of Christ must call for the releasing of those possessing research skills and anointing. It is as a matter of urgency that the body of Christ activate these abilities and that we embrace them. The need to dig deep into root cause of issues surrounding cities and nations cannot be over emphasised. Jesus made it clear in His teachings that unless the strongman is bound, you cannot take his belongings (referring to souls). The impact, and the presence of the church are not felt in most cities in the UK today. Many cities across the nation have vibrant Islamic communities whose impact is felt due to the passion with which their cause is fought.
???When the strongman fully armed, {from his courtyard} guards his own dwelling, his belongings are undisturbed {his property is at peace and is secure}???
(Luke 11:21AMP).
Controlling demonic powers over territories will exert influence in the lives of persons who do not know the Lord or those who do but choose to live in opposition to God???s will for their lives. The devil will use such people to perpetrate his evil plans such as bombing innocent victims. So we as believers in Christ Jesus must frustrate the enemy by praying that every soul under his control is released to the knowledge of the saving grace of God.
Unless the strongman is bound the church cannot conduct effective evangelism, which is the corporate mandate of the body of Christ (Mtt 28:19, 24:14, Mk 16:15). The strategy of a strongman is to lock the spiritual gates to cities, and nations so that the destinies and redemptive gifts of such places are never unlocked. Lawlessness invades, and permeates any society with a slumbering church. Wherever the church operates in ignorance of spiritual warfare spheres and principles, the City gates remain locked.
So Jesus taught,
???But when one stronger than he attacks him and conquers him, he robs him of his whole armour on which he had relied and divides up and distributes all his goods as plunder (spoils)??? (Luke 11:22 AMP).
Being armed with revelation and insight from heaven as partners with Christ makes us ???one stronger than he???. The strength of the believer is in THE BLOOD OF JESUS. There is much more to write about on this subject as I know it but I have given enough for testing and weighing,
???Do not spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets [do not depreciate prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instruction or exhortation or warning] but test and prove all things [until you can recognise] what is good; [to that] hold fast??? (1Thess 5:20-21 AMP).
HOW WE MUST PRAY
For sometime now, the intercessory prayer ministry I serve in (Women Arise International Prayer Network) has applied the ???unlocking destiny??? principle. We tend to pray in a formation of FIVE when seeking God for a miracle in Birmingham believing when five are present unnecessary spiritual warfare is pushed aside. The reasoning behind praying in Five???s lies in the simple understanding that if the devil locked the gate of the city with key number 5, the combination lock would read 555. The ???5??? represents what he stole (Jn 10:10). In Birmingham???s case it would be grace to ???give away???, to lead from the heart, to export expertise for example.
Gates are entry points. Every problem has an entry point into lives, cities, and nations. So to deal with a problem you have to deal with its root cause and evict the enemy through the same way he gained access (gates).
The strongman over Birmingham was revealed to me in the 5th year of my ministry (Image of ???King Kong??? representing fear, control, male domineering spirit and other attributes of King Kong). Incidentally, the strongman seen in an open vision lived in a city under a roundabout in Birmingham known as ???FIVE WAYS???, and it was shown me in May (the fifth month) of my Fifth year in Birmingham. Five major roads are accessed through the Five Ways roundabout and each has a history of events occurring to challenge the work of God in the city. Down one road alone, it was said that at least 12 pastors had fallen to sexual sin, and though a cluster of over 100 churches surround this area, the presence of the church is not felt in the decadence that rules in that region of the city. There is more to share on this but for now my heart is to inspire intercessors in this new dispensation to pray fervently.
Studying the significance of ???revealed??? numbers with which city gates are opened (also numbers with which the gates remain locked) will help you understand what the enemy wants from your city, apart from the obvious agenda to subvert any work of evangelism. Usually, the devil will only attack, striking people or places with significant redemptive gifts. He does so in appointed times.
When intercessors start to intercede in the number formation with which the enemy has been attacking the destiny of their cities, and nations (again, when revealed and received), he will certainly back off God???s people.
By standing to counteract the devil???s battle formation at the gates of your city/town/village/nation/household, he will be left with one fate and one fate alone???. a certain defeat. (See ???The gates of the City of Birmingham are now open??? on www.womenarisepray.org click on prophetic).
Pray for your City for:
- Salvation of souls
- The revealing of the strongman over communities
- For the awakening of the ???warrior??? spirit in the British Isles
- The combination lock to the gates of your City be revealed to intercessors
- Fervent intercession from churches in your area
Your area may suffer from fallow ground syndrome (Hosea 10:12). The enemy locks up spiritual gates to cities so that ministries and gifting to support existing work of the Lord are shut out of that area.
We must pray with authority seeking God for KEYS of revelation to unlock the destinies of our Cities.
