DECEMBER 2007

BRITAIN PRAYS- OUTLINE

12.00a.m-1.00a.m- HOUR OF ENCOURAGEMENT

At the beginning of the month of December I sat down to write up insight for our church for the month.  I was drawn to a revelation the Lord was already depositing in my spirit for the body of Christ.  The Lord was encouraging his children not to grow weary in well doing for in due season “you shall reap if you faint not” (Gal 6:9).  Many believers had grown weary in “doing good” and may loose their harvests if not encouraged to “hang in there”.   This is the “due season”; a time for physical manifestation of answered prayers (Rev 8:5).   The Lord also showed me that the season will see many reap harvests out of the same seeds they sowed in the past; good and evil (Gal 6:7).  A malicious brother or sister in the faith who sowed seeds of malice will out of the same seed reap bountiful harvests from malicious neighbours for instance.

Pray:

  1. Lord, I call forth, upon the church, fresh revelation of the principle of seedtime and harvest time-“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest (Gen 8:22).  Teach me Lord, that I may walk in confident assurance of your commitment to “harvest time” where ever there has been seed planting by me in others’ lives.

  1. Lord, I pray for rich harvests from seeds of love, patience, goodness, benevolence, servitude, or blessing I have sowed in the lives of other people especially those of the household of faith- “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially those of the household of faith.” (Gal 6:10).

  1. Lord, I pray for your grace to cultivate a mindset of harvest.  Help me to reject lies of the enemy that says you cannot bless me.  May I now believe in your word that every effort I make as a believer to advance your kingdom will bring me good harvest in a due season-“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” (Gal 6:7).

1.00a.m- 2.00a.m – HOUR OF AWE (WORSHIP)

God wants his children to get used to worship and worshipping him.  At the end of September and whilst preparing for Britain Prays, I had a supernatural experience where I was shown the substance of Revelations 8:1-5 with angels getting ready to engage the earth in a time of answered prayers but first there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.  Jesus is calling for true worshippers; those who will worship him in spirit and truth (Jn 4:23-24).  The glory of God is coming down so strong upon his people.  We shall know to carry the weight of God with wisdom in the days ahead (Habb 2:14).  Let your worship precede your breakthroughs.

Pray:

  1. Lord, help us to seek after knowledge of your glory, and to be carriers of your glory- “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habb 2:14).

  1. Lord, help us carry your presence not with carts in this season but our lives will be perfumed by your presence-“David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God to me.” (1 Chron 13:12).

  1. Lord, help us to come up to a higher place in our worship of you; and in our relationship with you so that we can carry the mantle of our corporate commission effectively in 2008- “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” (Rev 4:1).

2.00a.m-3.00a.m- HOUR TO PRESS FORWARD

This is the last hour of Britain Prays for 2007.  God is speaking to you to forget the former things and to look to the new things that are ahead of you.  He is saying even now; “Behold, I will do a new thing.” (Is 43:19)  God wants you to know that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Hebs 11:6).  Through the year we have converged, across the globe, in one heart primarily to pray for the nations of Great Britain and the British Isles, the church, media and topical issues.   Britain Prays has been about “Church without walls”; about media and praying believers.  Now, the Lord wants all who tune in whether by Internet chat room or direct telephone calls to position for harvest.  The Lord wants you to cultivate harvest mindset as one with us on the Britain Prays team, and to get ready in 2008 for your reward.

Pray:

  1. Lord strengthen us to push through in these last few days of 2007 to birth all that you have planned for us- “If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small” (Prov 24:10)

  1. Lord, help us to receive revelation of favour to enable your children (believer saints) come out of labour and to step into favour; “And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her” (Est 2:15).

  1. Lord, help us to believe your favour is worth contending for so that we come out of toiling in ministry and striving- “So, it was when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favour in his sight.” (Est 5:2)

AMEN.
