HOUSE OF PRAYER - PRAYING WITH GOD WITH GUEST SPEAKER JOHN ALCOCK - FRIDAY 30TH JULY 2010

DATE: 30th July 2010
TIME: 7.30pm-10.00pm
VENUE: Grafton Hall Community Centre, Grafton Rd, Solihull Lodge, West Midlands, B90 1NJ

"Lord, Teach us to Pray" Luke 11:1

House of Prayer will be running a series of teaching on Strategic Prayer!  The next session will be on Friday 30th July 2010 with Guest Speaker John Alcock from CI Ministries & Mobilise NOW.

John will be teaching us on the subject of  "Praying with God".

John was one of the prayer leaders in the nation of South Africa as the nation was going through changes in the late 80's and early 90's.  The church had to learn to change their pray language and to pray in unity through God's perspective for this great nation.  It was this type of prayer that facilitated the most amazing changes in the nation both in the realm of the spirit and within the natural realm which lead to the change of government resulting in the release of Nelson Mandela.

John has a passion for prayer and a desire to see nations changed for the glory of God.

John has a heart to raise up nation changers through prayer and to see the church understand the true purposes of God for Great Britain.  This will only come as we learn to partner with the Holy Spirit in intercessory prayer of Jesus Christ.

John will be teaching and imparting his experience to us as we gather for the next House of Prayer.

2010 is a year of fresh revelation and insight.  As we start to receive the new mandate from the Lord for our lives, families, communities and nation, we need to stand firm in agreement with Heaven in prayer.

Some of the other topic we will be covering during the year are:

  • How to Pray
  • A Desire to Communicate to God
  • Prophetic Decree
  • Praying the Word of God
  • Intercession and Standing in the Gap
  • The Power of Declaration
  • Meditative Prayer
  • Effective Spiritual Warfare
I recently released a word from Pastor Obii Pax-Harry titled "Rings of Fire".  If you didn't receive this word, you can access the complete word via our website prophetic page by logging onto www.womenarisepray.org/prophetic.  Below is a paragraph taken from that word that confirms that this is the time to gather to pray for breakthrough.  Days of prayer are with us again!

Prayer Chains

The days of prayer chains are with us again. I received understanding that these rings of fire consisted of ten peoples drawn together in prayer, interceding fervently for the church to rise up in strength in this hour to advance the kingdom of God on the earth. The words from the mouths of these Believers I saw in the spirit were like fire proceeding from their mouths. Fire also seemed to proceed from their nostrils also and from their feet. The spoke with great conviction and authority; "Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power" (Psalm 110:3).

Come and Join us on Friday 30th July  2010.  Together we can make a difference.

Don't Keep It a Secret - Please Invite others who you know will be blessed by this teaching and activation.

An informed Christian is the Devils nightmare!

We always like to meet new people and we have been blessed by the Lord as He draws His people to come and visit us each time we meet.  Please feel free to let others know about these strategic gatherings.

One of the commands the Lord gave us was to GO!  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations (Matt 28:19, Mark 16:15).  The statement shows us that every believer has the ability to be mobile and to share good news with others.  So with this is mind, please feel free to let others know about HOP so they too can partner with us to see the Lord glorified in the United Kingdom.

PROPHETIC TOUR OF THE HOLY LAND LED BY DEBORAH & IAN SMITH

DATE: 23rd October 2010
TIME: 8-10 Days
VENUE: Jerusalem & Galilee to Include Egypt

It is our pleasure to welcome you on the Arise Missions third prophetic tour of the Holy Land led by Deborah and Ian Smith. As on the previous tours, the Lord's presence was so visibly strong manifesting through supernatural signs and wonders. We were privileged to baptise new believers of all age ranges in the River Jordan and to experience a new level of God's love for us as individuals and His people within the land of Israel.

The itinerary this year is packed with amazing places to visit in Jerusalem and Galilee along with the opportunity to cross the border into Egypt to climb Mount Sinai and to visit St Catherine's Monastery (the site where Moses encountered the burning bush and the commissioning to free the children of Israel from captivity).  We are really excited about the tour this year and we are expectant for greater manifestations of God's presence as we bless His people. The ARISE MISSIONS TOURS in partnership with WORLDWIDE CHRISTIAN TRAVEL guarantee you professionalism, fellowship and friendship. This is a prophetic experience that will change your life forever and a tour you will never forget.

We believe this is the time to focus on the plans and purposes of God within the Middle East and therefore invite you to join us as we allow the Holy Spirit to impact our hearts and interpret the mysteries of heaven at such a strategic time in history.
